Re: Question about Appointment table
Thanks a lot for your reply. Please point me to the syntax of Appointments.Delete(). If I cannot deleted simply, I should be able to mark it Broken just by UPDATE appointmentSET AptStatus = 5 WHERE AptNum=XXX, right? If I want to mark appointment as confirmed or texted, can I simply do UPDATE appoin...

Question about Appointment table
Hi, if an appointment is changed, e.g. scheduled time changed, AptNum should still be the same, right?
If I need to cancel an appointment, then simply delete the row with AptNum=XXX, right?
I would like expert to confirm. Thanks, Sean

Hi, I run a customized query in mySQL workbench to get all appointment for certain day, however I can NOT get all appointments. Re: Create template database
The problem is that I don't want to re-configure the blank database. I would like to keep all formatting information of the existing database, but without patient data. Seems like there is no such thing. Thanks anyway.

Create template database
Hi, I wonder if there is a way to create a template database to share with other offices. This template database should have all the format/configuration, but without patient data, personal data. This is different than blank database that open dental put it in during installation. Thanks,

Old Trial Version
Hi, My open dental is version 16.4.51. I need to install a server at home. So I download the trial version from opendental.com. But that is version 17.2.43. Apparently it will not work for us.

Re: total collection per provider based on receive date

Re: total collection per provider based on receive date
Thanks. But e.g. I posted one insurance payment today 4/14/15 $100 for production day 3/25/15 by Dr. A. When I run production/income report for this month. It shows no insurance payment on 4/14/15. If I run payment report on 3/25/15, it shows insurance payment of $100. So how do I change the system,...

We get an associate. I would like to pay her based on her collection. So how do I get weekly/monthly collection number, cash, credit card, and insurance, based on receive date, not production date? I think this is a very common question. I want to know every week/month how much each provider gets pa...
