Insurance Plan Report - Current
Hi All. We are considering the ramifications of dropping an insurance network. When we run a report by insurance plan of this particular network it appears to show anyone who ever had the specific plan versus patients on the plan at the present time. In other words, patient names are coming up with ...

Demand Force
Anyone have any feedback on using Demand Force with OD for recall and appointment confirmation? We are looking at integrating this feature into our practice to minimize the appointment confirmation phone calls.Any feedback is welcomed. Thanks in advance, Anne

Re: EOB images and rotating image
I have to deselect auto rotate in order for it to scan the entire image. Otherwise, the scanner chops out 2/3 of the image. So, I can't seem to change it from the scanner settings, as far as I can tell. I'm perplexed why there are rotate buttons in the image windowin patient charts but not in the EO...

EOB images and rotating image
When we scan EOBs via the batch insurance payment window, the images need to be rotated (landscape orientation) in order to view/read them. Is there an option to rotate the images in this area or a way to configure the viewing so we can rotate images? I know if we scan a document via the images fold...

Billing Patients Multiple Times
We typically balance bill a patient (from the account module), when the insurance payment comes in and is recorded. When we run the billing from the manage utility, these same patients are coming up in the billing list i.e., sent a statement on 8/25 but they are popping up in the billing module as n...

Re: Accurate Payment Estimates with MAC minus Fee Schedule p
Thank you! Forgive my very basic questions. So, you have play type set as Category percentage. Fee schedule (just below this field) set to the appropriate fee schedule. Under "other fee schedules" you have the co-pay amounts listed? Do you have anything listed with carrier allowed amounts? When I se...

Re: Accurate Payment Estimates with MAC minus Fee Schedule p
Arna, Could you tell me how I might have mistakenly set up the above described scenario? I've entered the fee schedule and attached it to the plan (PPO percentage, fee schedule attached). Under the 'other fee schedule' field, I've attached the copay fee schedule. When the estimates are coming up (du...

Accurate Payment Estimates with MAC minus Fee Schedule plans
Could someone tell me the proper way to set up insurance in the patient chart for a situation where there is a Maximum Allowable Charge (MAC) and the reimbursement is far lower, with the patient being responsible for the difference? I'm not sure how to properly set this up in the Insurance Plan wind...

Incorrect fee posting!in chart/account.
Good evening, Quick question. On two separate occasions, the procedure fees that auto populated into the patient account (when the procedure was set to complete) were the insurance allowable fees for the attached fee schedule instead of the office fees. The same thing happened w the fees for the tre...

Crown Submission PreAuth & NEA
I am wondering if there is a more efficient way to submit crown pre-authorization numbers and NEA numbers on the claim form? Currently, we enter the pre-authorization number and the NEA number in the treatment plan. To submit the claim, we then copy the numbers down (switching between screens) for t...

Fee Schedule/Insurance Plan Clean Up
Any advice on how to tackle cleaning up the fee schedules and insurance plans? I am attempting to help my husband at his office since someone retired, and I am discovering that the OD program is not being used to its potential AND there are areas that were not set up properly (insurance). In short, ...
