Re: Digital Image Importing
OK, I got the OD built in bridge to work, however whenever I click on it, Apteryx tells me that they are not a patient and they want to create a new one. Is there any way to have them data drill for the same info so that it finds the existing patients that already exists?

Re: Digital Image Importing
I'm curious. Haven't you ever had problems with duplicate names? Does the data drill part of it work, where it supposedly goes into the database and gets the birthdate for the person? Are the patient Id's used in Apteryx the same as the ones use in Open Dental? Have you ever had a problem with the ...

Re: Hygiene production
A couple other things that you will need to do. Under set-up and opertories, make sure that your hygenist is listed, along with the dentist as the provider for that op. Also, goto lists and procedure codes. Identify what codes you would like the hygenist to get credit for production, double click on...

Re: Hygiene production
First, with the create or edit appt. screen open (double click a scheduled hygeine appt) do you have a dentist and hygenist selected? If not, you need to have you as provider and your hygenist selected as hygenist. Try that and see what happens.Robert_dds wrote:please show me how you program to do that. Thanks.

Re: Digital Image Importing
First of all, if you use Apteryx, DO NOT use the name grabber. Use our built-in bridge. The name grabber was designed as a workaround for practice management software from companies that refuse to support bridges. This refusal to support bridges is one way that these companies restrict your freedom...

I just got a message from MetLife I think it is that says our e-claims don't have our NPI # on them. I thought for sure I set this up last year actually thought it was working, but throughout the year I got a few messages that asked us about our NPI, but I thought they were just automated messages....

Hi all
A quick question. Is there anyway to get a 4bw mount imported into OD to view in the chart at the bottom of the screen, instead of always having to name grab and view in appteryx?
Thanks,

yes, I already tried this setup over the internet, for direct access and it was REALLY slow. logmein (FREE) (or TS i guess, but I haven't ever used it) is much better solution at the moment from a remote location. Do you not have limitations with Logmein as far as printing goes? I did not think the...

Re: daily production line on appts module
You need to goto setup, appt views, and then make sure that your hygeine provider is highlight along with all the other providers that you want to show up. So, if you have a custom view set-up, just double click it to edit and select ctrl plus any additional provider.

I know that we have many instances when we need to create multiple treatment plan options. Its not that we don't have a good idea of what we want them to do, it is the patients that want to see all the options and then take them home to go over and discuss with spouse. For example, today we had 6 in...

We have set up our codes to show the default amount of time for each procedure. Specifically, our hygiene appts are set-up to be one hour appts for Ex, Pro, 4BW.
