Re: Open Dental missed some completed procedures for billing
Thanks for the reply. I tried to replicate the problem by adding posterior composites to the same patient, but it seems to be working properly. It's times when it suddenly doesn't work that scares me, and I don't know when that happens. I've never clicked the "Don't substitute codes" box for any ins...

Same person in the front.

Re: Open Dental missed some completed procedures for billing
Thanks for replying!
The insurance did not change and was not dropped. The previous completed procedures did not have the same problem. And was billed the normal way.
The procedures were just restorations of primary teeth, and is different a across the patients. Also, "no billing" is not checked.

Open Dental missed some completed procedures for billing
I have recently noticed that a few of the patients account module has procedures that were not sent to insurance. They would just show complete without the usual "(unsent)" after it. "Procedures not billed" in reports will not catch these completed, but not yet billed/sent procedures. I'm afraid tha...

Thanks for the file. Downloaded to fold and renamed to .exe file. Re: ResGen error
I am also getting the error "Corflags is not recognized as an internal or external command" on my Windows 7 Professional computer. I looked in the folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v7.0A\Bin", but Corflags is not there. I am also running using C# Express. If anyone has a solution...

bug with Claims
I have a problem when we do a claim. The problem happens when we click on "new claim" then click on "By Procedure", and then click cancel. I know we are not suppose to click "by procedure" until the check (payment) comes back, but the front desk sometimes click on it accidentally. What happens after...

Change prodedure code and fee automatically
Quick question for anybody who knows the answer. I accidentally click the box for "Check this box if you never again want to prompted to change this type of procedure" for amalgams. Now when I change number of surfaces eg: from 1 surface "O" to 2 surface "MO", open dental does not automatically chan...

Re: "Unable to Save Document"
Thank you very much for your replies :D . I will give it a shot and designate another computer as my file server for scan images. I'll see if it is the server acting up, but I doubt it because file sharing is ok, and apteryx database works fine on it too. If that doesn't work I will try another scan...

Re: "Unable to Save Document"
Sorry for the late reply, I've been busy setting up the office. I am running windows xp with one server and 3 client workstations. I did not map the directory to a drive. It is in the format: \\Server\OpenDentImages. The scanner is a Canon Pixma MP530 Office All-In-One Inkjet Photo Printer. I have a...

Re: "Unable to Save Document"
Thank you for your replies. It works sometimes, and when it works, it keeps on working. Then the next time I boot up computer, it does not work at all. I did not set passwords, or specific permissions on the Win XP computers. I have thought that this might be the problem, and tried to copy files ove...

Re: "Unable to Save Document"
Hi Jordan,
I have tried resetting everything, but the problem is still there, but only intermittent. The scanner and drivers do work outside OD in the windows environment, so I really have no idea now. Thank you for your help.

"Unable to Save Document"
Hi, I am having problems saving documents from the Sanner to the images module in Open Dental 5.6.27.0. It sometimes works, but 50% of the time it would say "unable to save document" after the document has been scanned. I am saving the documents to a server computer from a client computer on windows...

Chart Module 3d chart distorted
Hi, I am a newbie in this forum and would appreciate some help: I am having a problem on 2 of my computers (workstations) with the chart module. The 3d chart is distorted, the teeth have these gray colors on it, and everything looks awful. Do you have any way to fix this. My server computer is fine....
