Jordan,
Thanks for your help. Office Ally was able to make adjustments to the ANSI file before submission. OfficeAlly really complimented your software for the X12 file. I would recommend both OD and OfficeAlly for sending eclaims. Thanks again.

Re: NPI
We are using version 4. The older versions do not include the NPI in the e-claims with the clearinghouses? Can I manually change it myself?

Re: NPI
Jordan,
I am still using an older version of OD and the 2002 claim form. I just started doing some e-claims but they get rejected saying that I am missing NPI. I looked at the X12 in wordpad and there is no NPI number on the 12th line down. How do I get my NPI to show up there in OD?
Thanks,
Dan

Post N Track Settings
Where can I find the correct settings for entering POST-N-Track as a clearing house? My version does not have it.

Outstanding Claims Report
How do you run an outstanding claims report on 3.18.2? I ran a report for 90 days and the only claims that came up were predeterminations from 2001. I know I have many unpaid claims from the past 30 days. How come none of it shows up?
Do I have to do something else?
Thanks,
Dan

Re: Error: #23000Duplicate entry
Jordan,
It's on office server. It never happened before. I had to recopy the mysql data and it started popping up. I read your link. Can I use a old version of the opendental installer? My server is running Server 2008. Do I also check the other two boxes below the my.ini box?
Thanks,
Dan

Error: #23000Duplicate entry
I get this very long error message when I schedule appointments or make appointment changes. This happened after I backup mysql and recopied it. How do I fix this. The actual box pops up and reads: Error: #23000Duplicate entry '45625' for key1, INSERT INTO signal (fromuser,ITtypes,Dataviewing,Sigtyp...

Debbie,
Thank you so much for your help. I was able to install the software onto my home computer. Now I get the dreaded "Choose Database" box. What should the settings be for the software to start?
Thanks again,
DTL

Installing Open-dental Version 3.8 on Home Computer
Jordan, I am currently running the older version of OD at my office for many years now. I finally decided to set it up at home and see if the backup works. I am using Vista at home with a HP home server. What is the best way to install the software and restore the backup I got from my office. The of...
