Re: Adjustments linked to treatment planned procedures.
https://www.opendental.com/manual/treatmentplandiscounts.html I believe this is the feature you are looking for. Discounts will create adjustments when the procedure is completed and will allow you to show the correct value on the treatment plan. I have seen this and used it while in a solo practic...

Re: Adjustments linked to treatment planned procedures.
Thanks for replying. I cannot add an adjustment in the chart module to the procedure if it is not set complete. I can add an adjustment in the account module, then going back to the procedure I can link it and it will show in the box in the bottom right corner. However, the adjustment already appear...

Adjustments linked to treatment planned procedures.
Adjustments on treatment planned procedures. I'm stumped and not sure if this is possible or just not a feature of OD: I want to add an adjustment to a planned procedure. E.g. I want to do a filling at no charge. But the patient hasn't scheduled it yet. I can go in and create an adjustment for the f...

Space Maintainer Graphic
Recently updated to 20.5.54 which includes graphics for space maintainers. Cool. Patient today had 2 unilateral SM's but has since lost those and has permanent teeth. Yet, those 2 SM graphics still show on the chart. Looks like a line over each of those permanent teeth. How do I remove these graphic...

Re: Edit procedure description
It's D5864. It was not previously in the list of CDT codes, so I tried to add it to the list. It is a Maxillary Partial Overdenture and I accidentally typed Mandibular. I can change the Abbreviation but not the description.
Is it stuck like this forever, now?

Re: PCI compliance
Yes, We got the letter saying we would be charged a non-compliance fee if we didn't sign up for the $30/mo or whatever. I looked around and what I interpreted was if we filled out the correct forms we wouldn't have to pay some service and wouldn't get charged the non-compliance fee. The form we got ...

PCI compliance
What's the latest on this? Open Dental only stores CC#'s as ****(last 4 digits), but they are still stored, are they not? We use X-charge, does that matter to the PCI compliance? We went to the PCI website and thought we had to fill out form D, is this the incorrect one (I hope so because it looks r...

Re: Apixia Dental Sensors--- Affordable
I just recently acquired both Open Dental and an apixia sensor/software. In the patient's "Images" section, if I click on "capture" this is the error message I get: Failed to initialize Suni device. Please check that the device is properly connected to the computer. Specific error: System.Exception:...
