Great,
Is there a way to pre-load a treatment plan into the Kiosk. So when they check in for appt they can sign the treatment plan.
thanks!

eClipboard QR code functionality - love it - More coming?
Just started using the eClipboard to update Medical history. Good so far. Accidentally figured out that the black circle on the bottom right is a QR reader and using the eClipboard button on Treatment Plan page shoots the treatment plan to the iPad for signature. Super cool! Does it work for any oth...

Re: User definited fields in appointment bubble?
Thanks for the response. I tried to customize the bubble and I did do some of that, but what I'm understanding from you is that only pre-defined FieldNames can show in the bubble. We have made custom patient FieldNames (for example indicating whether or not they have HIPAA permissions on file) that ...

User definited fields in appointment bubble?
We use a lot of user definited appointment and patient fields. Is it possible to add them to the appointment pop up bubble??
Thanks

Is changing display box size possible?
We noticed since our last update (15.4.46.0) that we are having to scroll more within some of the information boxes. We really use them and pack a lot of info in them but we run out of space, and yet there is dead space around the boxes. Examples: In Family Module - the Recall box - we'd love it to ...

Re: Need to change this query a little bit....help please!
Thanks for all the input! I'm going to play with all the variations to see what works! We are doing beta testing of a new e-claim program for OneMind Health. Right now, to trigger the program to pick up a claim, you have to manually change the status to "Sent" instead of leaving it as "Waiting to Se...

Re: Autonotes versus Sheets for Hygiene and Exam Notes
I As an added bonus, you can make the fields in sheets reportable! You can't do that with an autonote. Just getting started editing reports - I'm assuming the reportable feature is a query. How do you know what the field name for a given sheet / field is? Sorry if this is a really basic question!

Re: Statement paper
I think that ad has been removed at this point- anyone have recommendations? I'm using Patterson's #21126 ( http://www.pattersondental.com/Supplies/ItemDetail/070715060 ) and I'm not happy with how it prints statements from OD; also, it keeps jamming my printer, which it also did when we used Practi...

Re: How to scan EOB and attach it to insurance payment?
I'm on v.12.1.15. When I click View > Scan >, it scans through, but then I get an error message: "Unable to scan. Please make sure you can scan using other software. Error code: 73 EZTEC_PDF_COMPRESSION". My other scanning programs are working fine- is there a setting I need to change somewhere? -Lu...

I am very interested in this feature too. Has it happened yet and I've missed where it is? Or what number should I vote for?

Ah, I see that now. Is it possible to change the color of the text that the broken appointments show up in to distinguish them from all the other items?

Tracking patient's history of cancellations
We just started using OD in January, converted from PracticeWorks. In PW, there was a "Appointment History" button. It was similar to the "Make/Find Appointment" button in that it listed all past and future appointments that have been/are scheduled. But it also listed the dates any time an appointme...

Re: iPads and the like
teethdood, when you refer to a quick exam check, what is it you are doing? Is it entering the info for a routine hygiene exam? That would be most helpful if that were the case.

Custom patient field
I got the difference between the custom patient field and custom appointment field. I have a custom patient field set that shows on the appointment page. Is there a way to make it show in the patient info area in the "Edit Appointment" window. Would be a handy place for it to recur.
thanks

Seeing treatment by tooth
Is there any way to quickly see any treatment ever done on an individual tooth? Prior program you could click on a tooth graphic and you would see any treatment or notes attached to that tooth for a nice quick history. Only way I've found to do this is to do it in the Progress Notes by sorting by To...

Re: New user looking for answers
Thanks for the input - will try jclay's and Rick's suggestions with recall, and also Jordan's with planned appointments. I'm also thinking of putting it into the special "Default Hygienist" field. I didn't realize what we did was so out of the ordinary. Yes in PW on the back of their "Clipboard" you...

Re: New user looking for answers
Thanks for the input! I like the different codes with the fifth digit - that will enable me to charge differently too. But the question I still have is how does the scheduler know WHICH one to schedule. For the child example it's simple - just go by age. And if the hygienist walks the patient up and...

Re: New user looking for answers
I've been working with support today and one answer is easy (selected hygienist). The person I was working with was very helpful but we're not finding an answer for the time issue. TheI am curious as to how others work this. We certainly don't schedule the same amount of time for a three year old as...

New user looking for answers
Not expecting to get any responses today as it's Christmas, but I'll ask for tomorrow. Just did the conversion from Practice Works to Open Dental on Friday and I'm planning on spending my week "off" getting ready to start the year. I'm doing this by customizing the forms, notes, etc. The biggest thi...
