Scanners

Post by sandi » Fri Jun 10, 2011 1:41 am

Why does OD scan in B&W and very poorly? I had another dental software that had a twain interface same scanner same pc and the scans although B&W were perfect. I have tried two scanners one a canon p-150 a top end scanner.
I am going to have to import PDFs into the program as I dont think legally the B+W are worth anything especially if they cant be read. Many thanks for any help.

I can scan in color, Grayscale or B&W. The scans come out perfect. This may be an issue with your scanner software. I have an HP multifunction printer/scanner/copier. I scan directly from the images module and select the TWAIN compatible scanner. The HP software then opens up and scans the document. I can adjust the image before saving it.
