Supporting hardware for a new user

Post by mkleive » Sat Jul 30, 2011 2:49 pm

I've searched the forums for a list of the best or suggested supporting hardware and software that works well with OD. I'm ready to make the conversion from Dentrix G4 and I'd like to know what folks are using as far as printers and scanners and other devices that actually support the tasks needed by the front desk and the treatment rooms. Please share. :)

OD should work fine with just about any printer or twain scanner.
I am using a Minolta Magicolor network laser printer, and a Brother MRC 9560CDW network multifunction fax/copier/printer/scanner with duplex scanning and duplex printing. Very satisfied with both. Both can be accessed from any workstation on the network. Also have a Brother QL500 label printer. Can't think of anything else that you need.
