Posted Procedure gone???

Has any Open Dental user had the following issues:

Posted procedure code deleted with no audit trail (the procedure was on the claim form and the credit balance was the alert).

When using the write off now button (with pri/2ndary claim involvement) issue with writing off too much

Does anyone run and review the insurance overpaid report? If so, did you find the write off issue I am seeing?

Open-Dent did capture our data and Rochelle was looking into it on a level 3, but I am just curious if this is specific to our database of others and what the resolve was.

Any help is appreciated.

They cannot explain what happened to the charge (it shows posted in the audit trail, not deleted on the audit trail and is missing from the transaction/ledger).

There are two different "audits". There is the audit trail. But then there is also the audit mode in the Chart module. If you are looking for a "deleted" procedure, then the audit mode in the Chart module is the one you want to be using. Completed procedures cannot be deleted, only marked with a status of deleted. So it will be there.
