Hi everyone
Every dentist has dozens of items, disposable items and equipments he/she needs to keep track of: How many items in stock, what's been sold, what's available, minimum order limit ..etc
How do you keep track of your inventory in OD? IF this is not available in OD, what shall i use?
Please advise

helps you with what's available and desired levels. In order to track current levels, you will have to have a system in place for the staff to actively enter in what they consume. That's what the "supplies needed" list is for in that window. Depending on your staff, this might not work. So the simplest thing to do is make a bunch of reusable tags. You then put the tags on the supplies in the stock room. Whenever the staff grabs a supply that has a tag on it, all they have to do is remove the tag and drop it in a container. The order is then placed by going through the tags in the container. This must be supplemented by someone simply going through and taking inventory frequently because tags can get misplaced. Similar barcode systems have been tried. RFID will probably be a better solution some day.
