Hi,
I compiled the latest version 11.1.16 and when I clicked on a sent claim trying to reverse it. The reverse button is greyed out. I looked up in the manual, but I can't see any reference to eclaim reversal.
Am I missing something? maybe RTFM!!!!!
Thanks
Tom

Re: canadian eclaim reverse button greyed out
When a claim is sent (not a preauth), the "Trans Ref Num" box next to the reverse button is supposed to automatically populate with the transaction reference number of the sent claim. The reverse button will not be enabled unless the claim was sent on the same day that you are trying to reverse it on (required by ITRANS) and the transaction reference number is present. The transaction reference number cannot be manually edited. When a claim is successfully reversed, then the transaction reference number will be cleared automatically. Is the claim in question a preauth? Does the claim currently have the status of sent? Go to the Manage module, click the Send Claims button, then change the date range at the bottom of the window so you can see the claim that was sent and double-click on the claim. You should now see the Etrans Edit window for the claim. There should be two print buttons within the Etrans Edit window, click on the right-most print button. This should print out the claim ack or eob. If you have a claim ack or eob, then the only restriction that could possibly prevent you from sending is the date limitation. There was a bug in the past where the Trans Ref Num box was not being set properly, preventing the user from sending a valid reversal, but that bug was on a version earlier that the one you have.
