Login window out of focus. Bug?
When I start OD, it brings the login window. In the past I believe I could just go ahead and type the password and it will go straight in. My login entry is at the top, so it was selected automatically upon start. All I needed was to add the password.
Now, the password goes nowhere, unless I pick up the mouse and click on the log in window. It seems like the log in window stays on top of the main OD window, but surrenders the focus to the main window and causes such behavior.
Not critical at all, but pretty annoying at times.

That would be a bug if it happens consistently. I haven't been able to get this to happen, so why don't you call in to support to see if we can figure out what's causing this.

Does this happen only when Open Dental is starting up, or does it also happen after clicking the "Log Off" menu item?

Re: Login window out of focus. Bug?
Me too. On startup. I have to click the OD window to get focus and then it will let me enter my password and start. Otherwise nothing.
Thought it was fixed but so far not so lucky.

I submitted a bug ticket for this and will get back with an update as soon as possible.
The best thing about a boolean is even if you are wrong, you are only off by a bit.
