Have you looked at bridging to any open source medical records programs. I am doing research and would like to use one with OD and my website.

Certainly. VistA is an obvious one. But I honestly can't figure out the installation and setup. There's too much of a learning curve. If you know of a popular open source medical software that support HL7, I'm all ears. I would love to implement HL7.
