Broken appointment error

Post by rmb23 » Thu Nov 13, 2008 4:26 am

With Windows Vista and any version of OD for the last year, if I am on the appoitment window and leave my computer for long enough to have the monitor turn off, when I come back and wake up the monitor something triggers the last highlighted appointment to be set to "broken" status.

How do you "wake up" the monitor? I'm guessing some sort of mouse or keyboard action. What action exactly?

we used to have this happen all the time until we included the question to make sure you really wanted to break appts. If it is still happening you must be hitting the space bar multiple times or something. Teach people to move the mouse.

One touch of the space bar. Shift and mouse clicks are okay but the space bar gets it every time. I know to not hit the space bar but most regular people go for the space bar first.

OK, the issue with the spacebar has been fixed. But it hasn't been released yet.
