Patient Copay in Capitation Account

Post by nhnguyen » Fri Aug 14, 2009 10:58 pm

Dear All,
We just upgrade from 6.4.2 to 6.7.11 and we are now having trouble with Capitation insurance plan setup.
Here is what we have:

Insurance Plan Type......... Capitation
Fee Schedule..................Standard
Pt Co-pay amounts...........CAA01
Carrier Allowed Amounts....none
Filling code ...................Commercial_Insurance
Filling code subtype..........Blank

Standart Fee Schedule for an example Procedure: D2391 is $185
CAA01 Copay Fee Schedule for D2391 is .......................$65
Therefore, the Treatment plan module should show: Fee $185, Pri Ins $0, Discount $120, Patient Copay $65. However, it is now showing: Fee $185, Pri Ins $0, Discount $55, Patient Copay $130.

We don't know why the patient copay is calculated as double?

Sorry for not responding earlier. Keep the thread alive by pestering us. I think we just saw that in another database, too. I don't have time to try to set up the scenario, but I think my staff has a scenario ready for me to look at. Once I can see it duplicated, it can go on the bug list.

I've added it to the bug list and am looking into it.
