We've been using OD for almost 2 1/2 years and need to start the process of marking patients inactive.
I'd like to run a report of all patients who are currently active who have not been in for an appointment in the last 18-24 months. Is there any other method that y'all use? Unless this could be automated, that would be even better.
Secondly, I've noticed that patients who have had a no show COE are showing on my recall list. So are limited exams. I'm positive that neither is a trigger for recall. Ideas? If we don't put in a beginning date for the recall, these patients appear. Otherwise, they don't. I'm open to ideas.

Re: How do you manage inactive patients?
A few versions ago, the recall strategy was changed so that every single patient goes onto recall unless you specifically disable them. The reasoning is that you don't want anyone slipping through the cracks. Most offices do not set patients inactive. What is the reason you want to do this? To get them off your recall list? I do understand that, and I don't have a good answer for you. I'm going to create a page in our manual that explains all the various improvements that could be made to recall. It will cross link to the feature request section so that it's better organized.
