Auto-Dialer

Hi everyone,

Someone asked for the auto-dialer feature a while back, and I thought I would share something that's working decently well for me. I signed up for a free Google Voice account, got a phone number that is very similar to our office number, have that forwarded to the main number. Then I got a program called GVNotifier (google it), added it to the Windows Startup menu. Now the staff can send/receive reminder SMS texts to patients. Also, they can cut and paste the number from Open Dental into GVNotifier which then calls the office first, then calls the patient's number second. It works just like the auto-dialer but better in that you don't have to hook a phone line to the computer and Jordan doesn't have to implement all that telephony code. Kind of a work around due to cut/paste, but it beats dialing manually. Perhaps someone can add a feature request to Jordan for a bridge to GVNotifier to call automatically (ie. "GVNotifier 1-XXX-XXX-XXXX").
