What Does the eCW bridge allow?

Our clinic has eCW, and has been trying to find out exactly what the Open Dental/eCW bridge allows an eCW user to do. Since it is a one-way bridge, we are assuming data from Open Dental cannot be brought into eCW in order to be combined in eCW reporting, such as financials. (I do know data can be exported into a CSV Excel file from both programs.)

Also, we are a Community Health Center and are required to provide UDS reporting on all service. Can that data be brought into the eCW UDS report module?

Please give me as many details as possible.
