Clock in/out in audit trail

When an employee clocks in or out should that event be recorded in the audit trail?
It doesn't seem to be in our office.
Did I miss a switch or setting to turn it on?

Not all permissions result in audit trail entries. But for this action, there's not even an applicable permission. The existing permissions are for things like preventing users from accessing each other's time cards. There is no permission for making an entry on a time card; everyone is allowed to do this.
