Pocedures not billed to insurance list is too long!

After using open dental for a while now, I recently pull up this report only to find a large number of patients, do some digging and I find out that these patients were fee for service patients that (duh) would be bille dot insurance, how do I clean this list up?

And prevent it from happen again?

Do you mean that these are patients without insurance and pay cash? If they are they are not supposed to show up on this report. Something must be wrong in the way these patients were defined as non insured.

Right. When you go to the Family module for one of these patients, are you sure there's no insurance plan entered? It might be time to call us to show us what you mean. I've never heard of this before.

If they have a straggling ins estimate, they will show up (used to have ins?)...maybe need to run this in database maint, that estimates are removed from a dropped plans. We get this quite often when people change insurance plans and old estimates are left behind. They still show up on the list until we delete the estimates..

When drtech talks about deleting estimates, he means to double click on the procedure to open up the edit window. Then, at the bottom, double click to open the estimate, and then delete it.
