I have used OD for 3 months and been bothered by several issues. Can anyone help me out?
1) How to set quick buttons to chart existing caries, cracked and fractured tooth in graphical tooth chart?
2) How to add a new "paint type" for a procedure Code? Existing paint types are not suitable for charting caries, cracked tooth and fracture tooth.

1. You can set custom procedure buttons and quick buttons in Setup - Chart - Procedure Buttons.
2. Set procedure code paint types by going to Lists - Procedure codes, then double click on the procedure code you want to customize. Select the paint type you want or use the color override feature to set whatever color you want. You can also use the Draw feature in the chart module to draw or paint whatever you want on a tooth.

Look like I cannot automate the draw function on surf or tooth when charting existing conditions
. It's nice to have such power feature in OpenDental since many other PMS systems have it.
