Not sure if this is a bug, or the design of the program. We just did our monthly billing yesterday, and on the list generated of patients to receive statements, there were a few who recently received a statement. When I went back to their account, I saw that a statement was generated on a patient other than the guarantor. As a result, the billing list (which uses the guarantor) would show this account as not having been billed recently. I know the fix is to generate statements from the guarantor not any other patients, but I was wondering if this is by design or not.

I think it's by design. We have to allow you to create a statement for a single patient. And if you do so, it will not include other family members, so I think you would still want to have a statement generated for the entire family.
