Hi,
Is it possible to run opendental from a ethernet-harddisk? Not only for backup.
I would like to use a LaCie 2big network drive for my od database and my Sidexis database.
thanks
Fritz

I am sure you can put the data anywhere you want and point mysql to it. You can't run mysql on the netdrive.
You could run mysql on a separate computer from the netdrive but why? sounds slow to me.

A USB drive makes a lot more sense to me.
