appointment searches

Post by Mary Hribar »

When using the search for appointment button to find an open time slot, I am having trouble with the program displaying open appointment times for a provider who is NOT open at the times the program is saying he is.
When we set the OPs we had the Dr. listed as a provider in more than one Op---such as an overflow Op. We then entered his schedule. We have since removed his name from the extra Ops as a provider, thinking that would do the trick. However, the Ops are still showing the Dr's schedule and therefore when we use the search appt. button, we are getting appointments showing as available that really are not. Any suggestions???? :?:

Go into the setup schedule window. Double click on any day. At the bottom of that window, you can select the provider schedule to show in operatories where there is no provider set. Change it to some other provider, possibly a dummy provider who has no schedule. That should fix it. I know that's kind of an obscure place to put that option, but we ran out of space in the bigger window.
