Daily Production goals

Trying to figure out how to setup the new daily production goals in the appt view? (v18.1)

No, the manual is still for the old view...I am talking about the added field in beta 18.1 of "Daily Goals" BELOW that existing scheduled production on the appt

We're still working on updating our documentation for the new beta version, but i'll try to summarize the feature here (I did not implement this feature so i'll do my best).

Production goals will be calculated by provider based on an hourly rate * scheduled hours for the provider, summed for all the providers in the Appt View. The user can add each provider production goal in the provider edit window "Hourly Production Goal". The production goal behaves the same as production, meaning providers must be added to the view in order to be considered.

You can check back in with the manual in a few weeks. Our rule for ourselves is to document all features before they go to a stable release, so documentation for beta features is hit and miss.

I got it setup now but it only works if you check "show provider bars" we dont use this. So it now shows all these bars to the left that we dont use. Why does it require that to be shown? Is this an error?

That's the way it's designed. That Daily Prod and Daily Goal are for the providers that are shown in the provider bars.

has this been updated yet? the problem with this approach is that if you have multiple providers and they each have a bar, the goal calculates with them included even if they arent scheduled for that day or clinic.

Irfan, the provider should only be included in goal calculating for the hours that are scheduled. Can you explain in more detail a situation where the calculation is incorrect?

We use clinics. I might be scheduled at clinic 3, but if my provider bar is shown on clinic 1 then i am added to the goal for clinic 1, even if i am not scheduled for any ops used in clinic 1. It seems to go by the schedule and not whether or not the provider is scheduled in any of the relevant ops.

Irfan, in order for Clinic 1 to not include your provider on the goal when you are only scheduled at Clinic 3, you should go the Appointment Module preferences and check "Appointment module production use operatories".
