Extending Auto Notes for Patient information

I would like to capture addtional information for each patient.
I would like to use Auto Notes module for doing this. The values entered by user will be saved on database for each patient,
because I would like to have some reports based on this additional informations.

Hope my point is clear to you.

Please let me know if there anything like this is already implemented.

Auto notes are not for beginners. Please see http://www.open-dent.com/manual/notes.html I suggest using procedure notes, not auto notes. Another advanced topic is http://www.open-dent.com/manual/customp ... ields.html which you might eventually find useful.

The Patient Field Defs giving only text entry options where as I want to add some questions with yes/No option and some combo box entries also.

Auto Notes does have some potential in other areas of OD. However, as Dr. Sparks has pointed out it is a fairly complicated program to use. I'm in school right now so I will be unable to work on further integration for a while. Besides the lack of time, Dr. Sparks and I would have to first figure out what the best way would be for further integration; that could take a long time.
