Can multiple patients be open at the same time?
Example: I'm charting a complex treatment on a patient and an assistant asks me to look up something for a different patient. Can I open two patients at once and flip between their charts? Can I open multiple instances of OD?

Only one patient at a time. But yes, you can open multiple instances. That is quite common if you want to look at two patients simultaneously.
