Hello,
We're using the new Guardians API and it works well for creating and reading guardians.
We've run into a problem with detecting changes. Most tables we read have a DateTStamp column, so we can ask for rows changed since we last checked. The guardian table doesn't have one, and we couldn't find another way to see changes:
-The table has no DateTStamp or other modified-date column.
-Adding, editing or deleting a guardian doesn't appear to write a securitylog entry. We tested this in the UI and saw no matching rows.
-We found no history table or other table that records guardian changes.
-As a result, we can see which guardians exist, but we can't tell which were edited or deleted since we last looked. The only option is to read the full table every time and compare.
Questions:
1. Is there an existing way to detect guardian edits and deletes that we've missed?
2. Would it be possible to add a DateTStamp column to the guardian table, and ideally a securitylog entry for guardian changes? A DateTStamp filter on GET /guardians would also help.
Thank you,
SL
Guardians API: no way to detect edited or deleted guardian records (request for a DateTStamp or similar)
