Aging Report As of Date

Today, 7/31/08, I ran an Aging Report. The report states "As of 07/29/2008."
The date of the report states 07/31/2008.
Why isn't it as of today's date?

I suspect you didn't update your aging of your accounts before you ran the report. I believe the 7/29/2008 date is the last date you updated the aging of the accounts. The 7/31/2008 is the the actual date you ran the report. If you update the aging, I suspect the dates will be the same (today).

You must be using monthly aging instead of daily. With monthly aging, you have to be more careful to change the aging date when you run it.

How can I tell if I'm set up for monthly or daily aging?

Yes, i did not update, that fixed it.

In the misc setup window, there is a toggle for daily vs monthly aging. It should correspond to your billing strategy.
