We have some elderly patients that we give 5% off treatment and other patients that we will occasionally give small discounts for if they pay up front. Is there a way to enter a discount that will show up on the treatment plan? For example still show the standard fee and maybe discount in the PPO column? So the final estimate is printed correctly and they see the discount they get. We are currently running 5.6.31.0 and before the treatment plan and account modules were re-done it was simple. We would change the amount in the treatment plan module and be certain that our standard fees showed and the print out was everything we wanted.

Any suggestions on how to do it in the new version is appreciated. Thanks

It's one of those situations where we inadvertently removed a feature because we didn't anticipate anyone using it that way. We were trying to improve it, which we did for the most part. The discount column is indeed eventually planned to show such discounts ahead of time even if not a ppo. But our apologies for breaking it for you. One thing you can still do is edit the description column to indicate the discount.
