I have updated to ver 6.0 and found that the recalls are not calculating correctly. For example the Pano/FMX due date is set to default at 5yrs. Today we had a patient that his insurance will cover Pano/FMX every 3 years and we entered it into his insurance plan information. So today we did Pano, 4BW's and after setting complete the Pano/FMX defaulted his next eligible FMX would be 5yrs from now. We will likely take an FMX in 3yrs but is shows in the system that he is not eligible for 5yrs.

Does the new recall information just estimate all patients the same, or does it use the information we put in to the individual patients benefit information?

no! you can double-click on the patient's recall and change it! so for your patient, you open it and set his recall period to 3yrs instead of the default 5. that change applies to jsut him. (if you have other family members on the same plan and want them to be 3yrs also, go into each person). if you want ALL people to have a 3yr default instead of 5, you can set that in the setups for recall.

this recall info is NOT tied in any way to the insurance info you put in. you have to manually change each.
