Does OD have a billing module?

I saw on an earlier post that Tesia can be used with OD. Is Tesia a separate software that needs to be purchased? What does Tesia do that OD cant? Thanks!

Tesia is an electronic claims clearinghouse. They simply collect the e-claims that software like Open Dental produces and sends them to the different insurance carriers.

Version 6.5 will have electronic patient billing. That means that you would not print the bills in your office, but would instead let another company print and mail the bills for you. It will work with one or more clearinghouses. So far, we know it will work with ClaimConnect. It may also work with Tesia, but we'll have to see.
