Insurance claim forms

Hi I am new to OD. Is there a way to print the claim form with all the "boxes" and description of entries? I printed a claim and all that showed up on the paper where the items I had entered and the "x's" but not the description of what the entries where indicating. Also, I do not accept insurance assignment and need to delete the area describing where benefits would be paid. How do I do that?

That's just because you're using the trial version. The full version comes with the copyrighted background form.

Open the insurance plan from the Family module. Uncheck the box at the upper right for assignment of benefits. For a global default option, vote for feature request #469, which currently has zero votes.

Also, go to Setup, Modules, right side. Check "Balances don't subtract insurance estimate".

Hmmmm, I thought I purchased the full version. I installed the 6.0 upgrade but I see that there is an even newer upgrade. How do I get that?

If you installed an upgrade, then you should have that background. Are you in a foreign country or anything? Sounds like you need to call us to take a look at the problem.

Hi again, I still am unable to get the insuance claims background. I live in Colorado so it's not something foreign. I have been trying to use the ADA 2006 as a default. I went to C:OpenDentalData and there isn't an ADA 2006 form there but there is an ADA 2002. I tried changing the default to the 2002 claim form but still no background. Any ideas?

You should call us so we can troubleshoot it over a remote connection. Even when it's working as it's supposed to, you won't see an actual file in that folder. The file is buring deep inside the installed program where nobody can directly access it. There must be an issue with your Registration key or something. Call us for that.
