DirectX SDK

Documentation on compiling says DX SDK is required, but I have compiled OD 6.9.44 solution with only one error, concerning OpenDentalServer not compatible with Visual C# 2008 Express. I guess this component needs Visual Studio 2008. I was expecting errors because I did not had DX SDK installed, but I got no errors. Is this really required?

Havent tried the express, but you can always try the 30 day trial of the full featured 2008 like I do... I do know you need Adobe Acrobat Reader as well... I went with 8.0 havent tried anything higher...
