I am trying to make a new claim form. I have an image saved in gif format in the opendentaldata folder. When I add it to the claim form i do not see the image. can someone tell me what i am doing wrong?

Also, my computer died and I had to buy a new one. I have downloaded the opendental program and I have my old hard drive connected to the new computer. How do I transfer the patients from the old drive to the new computer? I have tried copying the opendentaldata, and opendentalimage folders but i still can not see the patients.

make sure mysql is shut down before you copy the data

there also is an open dental folder in the mysql directory

yes, the folder in the mysql directory is actually your patient data(usually "opendental")...the others are the images and such
