Insurance - crowns covered 50%, post and core covered 0% ?

When I'm treatment planning, I am putting in a core (code 2950) and a crown (code 2750). When I go into treatment planning, though, the core is coming up as 0% coverage, and the crown is coming up as 50% coverage. The patient actually has 50% coverage for the cores. How do I make the cores come up with 50% coverage ? The insurance coverage is in properly as 50%, but the cores are still coming up as 0%.
Thanks,
Mike

Complicated question. The simplest solution is to edit the estimate for the core, and override the percentage to 50%. But to have it do that automatically, I would have to see your screen and look at how you have set up your percentages. I think cores would fall within the basic restorative category. So what's your percentage on that?

Restorative is 80% for this person.
I don't see where you are talking about going in and editing that procedure code. Do you have an "Open Dental for Dummies" anywhere that I could buy ?
In reality, this is the easiest software that I have ever used ! Thanks again for all that you've done !

Double click on the procedure (not the procedure code), and then at the bottom, double click on the estimate. That's where you would always go to override estimates that look wrong to you.

We have the same problem with a few of our treatment plans and we have to go in an override the amount.
