Check in, check out, kiosks and printouts

We recently had a patient who came in an hour early and complained that she had to wait for 40 minutes!
Here is one idea that would have helped.
KIOSK
1. Every patient checks in and even if all their information is up to date, this logs their arrival time.
2. Before leaving every patient checks out. This logs the check out time.
PRINTOUT (regardless of the implementation of KIOSK. We can do this now if the front desk enters a new field called CHECKOUT)
1. There should be a function that allows us to print only the following info:
Your appointment time: 3:00pm
You arrived: 2:45pm
You were seated in operatory: 3:05pm
You checked out: 4:00pm
Obviously the PRINTOUT is more credible if the KIOSK is implemented as the patient checks in and checks out by himself but the two suggestions are independent.
