SIDEXIS XG: *.tif files cannot be imported into Sidexis XG

Hi there,
I need to diagnose a whole bunch of x-rays from other clinics for my PhD using Sidexis XG.
However, some TIF-files are importable, others are simply declined. I cannot see a reason why some won't be accepted.
Can anyone help? :/
