Have you heard of connected reporting from Excel. Just connect excel to the OpenDental DB, add your query and you can refresh and update your reports at the click of the refresh button. I have been working with connected reports for 20 years. 13 years with dental data.

This is the BEST and easiest way to pull data, KPI & Metrics.

You can build out your own reports in excel using 1 or more queries. All refreshable. You can even automate the reports to run on a schedule when you are not there. Great for summary reports or even setting up a report for Doctors payroll that could pull detail on collections, production even adjustments for a time period.

If you have not heard of this, would be interested in being a part of live stream where i show how to do this? I will post details of the stream if there is interest so please let me know.

Hi Patrick,
I am very interested to learn how utilize excel for OD reports. I called OD to inquire about just this and they had no information to provide.
Please let me know when the live stream will occur of if you have a print out or the resources you used to set it up.
