There is a flaw involving the Assignment of Benefits.
When the Assignment of Benefits Pay Provider box is checked or unchecked all claims past and present for that patient are marked/unmarked as Pay Provider. The original status is overwritten on all claims.
Once a claim is submitted, the AOB field on the claim form should be locked for that claim, and you should be able to preview or print a copy to see what the status was when the claim was submitted.
