Fake Procedure Codes
Hello All,
How does everyone currently handle fake procedure codes in OD?
Example anything not associated with an ADA code we make fake entries for. However to avoid them showing in the account module we set the procedures to Condition. Is there a better practice for these type of events?

Interesting
What build of OD are you on?
Are you on support with them? If so we've found their support calls are extremely helpful. I'd give them a call (503) 363-5432 and see what they end up finding
I'd be interested to hear what they end up finding so we can be on the look out

I run IT for our office as well
I've found this happens a lot when OpenDental holds Adobe open for too long
On workstations that don't use acrobat pro I've swapped to Foxit Free for pdf viewing and that has been more reliable from our experience

Re: Bring back Yearly Calendar- Feature Request
Feature requests in OD seem to take a while depending on their priority. I have a number of them open that only date back to 10/2020 that have no status change but some that have been implemented already. It looks like you already have a number of votes on it. I'd recommend posting in some of the OD...

Xray Mount Thumbnails in imaging module
With the edition of the new xray changes in 21.4 for example adding xray thumbnails for mounts is there a plan to allow only showing the thumbnails in the chart without also showing in imaging? Re: Does abandoning Patterson imaging mean I have to abandon Open Dental?
While twain can be a lower resolution it all depends on the twain driver/manufacturer on how they wrote it. Since OD came out with their built in imaging solution our office has taken just over 278K Xrays across carestream and schick sensors and so far we haven't had any issues with the image qualit...
