What type of reports are you planning to pull?

Generally a business just creates a set of reports and rarely goes to poke around in SQL. Naturally, these records can cause damage or confusion to your staff if it's in the wrong hands.

The industry best right now is Veeam in my opinion. Here is the community edition free for use. If you've got a NAS or a hyper-v this is a great tool. It even offers SQL backups specifically. If you're having server time issues it's probably best to have that looked at. It could be a battery.

This is Dexis related. Try using file->exit and see if the issue persists. You can do a reinstallation or update of Dexis and re-bridge this in OD to fix the issue. Dexis is quite a heavy software for what it offers. There are better alternatives that are lighter. And offer comparable, more cost eff...
