ScanX Advice Needed
I plan to buy ScanX for Pans and Intraoral films. Was wondering which imaging software works well with it. I plan to buy sensors in about a year or so, also, for intraorals. The Rep from Air Techniques recommends Visx
Also, how is the quality of the Pans?
Thanks a lot

Re: Call List
Jordan If I set the appointment status to ASAP, will that enable me to print out a list of patients that are available on short call? Otherwise, what is the purpose of the "ASAP status"? We have been noticing quite a bit of same day cancellations, due to economic conditions. We really need a way to ...

Re: Call List
Jordan We can really use a "short call" list in Open Dental. When making an appointment, we need a box to check if the patient is available to come in earlier than their appt. ( in case of unexpected cancellations) The box shuld also ask when they are available- mornings or evenings and perhaps what...

Scanners With Open Dental
I am looking to start scanning X RAYS and Documents into my computer so that I can send them as attachments to insurance claims. I need a FAST SCANNER for this purpose. I tried Microtec i 800 but way too slow. Any recommendations out there? Also, can one scan directly to Open Dental or does one need...

Generating List Of Patients with Insurance
How do I use Open Dental to generate a list of patients (and their addresses) with insurance benefits, so I can them post cards, reminding them to come in now? I would like to print out labels for these types of patients.
Thanks

Need Help Printing Claim Forms Remotely
I am not able to print the entire claim form using my remote connection, "log me in". In the office, the claim is printed out fine. However, when I try to print a claim form by logging in from my home, the claim form gets cut off. I am only able to print to line "36"- Authorizations. Also, the fees ...

HELP-LOST THE INSURANCE CLAIM BACKGROUND
I just tried printing out an insurance claim but I only got the data. There is NO CLAIM BACKGROUND. Everything had been working fine until today. What could have caused this and what do I do? I tried to go to set up, but there is NO link for insurance claims there. (It used to be there). I haven't u...
