Re: Report of Insurance Plans by Benefit month/year
On the 7.5 version where would we find the report for insurance claims sent per month? Will this show total billed and total paid?

Re: Set the frequency for regular cleaning and perio maintenance
I am wondering if it is at all possible to add something to the program. In the insurance plan, information box - there is a section for frequencies for x-rays, exams, and panorex. It would be of great help if a section for cleanings could be added. This would be very helpful as some insurance carri...

Re: Insurance estimates and statements
No not on the statment - but on the reports. The total outstanding comes up on the report as money outstanding and its not work charged out yet. So either two seperate reports would work or a split typr of report - actual claims outstanding and pre-estimates outstanding

it would also be a lot better IF the estimats {pre-determinations} and the actual claims outstanding are listed individually. Any way this can happen?

In Case of Emergency
We ask patients for a phone number of who to call in case of emergencies. An ICE# like on most cell phones these days. I think this should be in the patients information but you have no place to list it. Can this easiely be added to the program? At this time I have been placing the # in the patients...

Re: Charting Conditions
Dr Sparks - Quick note - Once a patient has their charting done and a periodontal chart is established - how do we go about having a newly extracted tooth come up on the patients next periodontal charting. As of right now we can't seem to de-bug this problem. Is there a way yo do that? Thanks Tracey...

Re: Payment Plans
The problem I see with the new payment plans are: You must set the guarantor on the payment plan to the patient so that the payments are attached to the correct pt balance. I do agree however that the statements are confusing because they show a zero balance on the account except under the actual pa...

the newest version 6.5 looks like its going to be great for these payment plans. However, the Balance column should maybe say: Balance due on payment plan and then show the reversal of the numbers in that column. What do you think?

Re: Query for End of Year Insurance Benefits
Dr Sparks; What about patients with benefits remaining. We've come across patients that have used there funds else where {example, at the oral surgeon or periodontist} so the balance remaining is not true to the amount patient has left. So if we do find out what is left for the year why can't that a...

Calander year vs. School year. There are two boxes in the insurance portion of the patients records. When you go to edit the patients coverage there are two places to check if its a calander year plan. However, the second box at the bottom CAN'T be unchecked, why is this?
