Re: I can't edit forms in OD!
Does it have anything to do with the fact that I'm downloading only the head? BTW it does build successfully and I've downloaded it to two different folders. Here is a picture of my SNV checkout settings: http://lvippg.bay.livefilestore.com/y1ptW6HjrjTMZ8mL-U-BmCivaXSBPYrNwx32fXi21pZG1aU_aGkENYT95PO...

Re: Extending Auto Notes for Patient information
Auto Notes does have some potential in other areas of OD. However, as Dr. Sparks has pointed out it is a fairly complicated program to use. I'm in school right now so I will be unable to work on further integration for a while. Besides the lack of time, Dr. Sparks and I would have to first figure ou...

Could we use WPF to intergrate color text?
Hello Dr. Sparks,
I don't know if this is an option or not.
I was wondering what you thought about the Windows Presentation Foundation and if you thought that we could integrate it and use it for color text? What are your thoughts on this?

Hello hitek_dental! That sounds like an interesting idea! Could be awhile for it to be implemented though as I've decided to take a break for a while. I might try to add a lot more features during the summer though. Thanks for all of the feedback! EDIT:@Dr. Sparks: That is true I never thought about...

The problem I'm having is that even though there is a scroll bar in the Auto Note display box, it doesn't allow me to scroll to the bottom of my the box. I have to grab the edge of the box ...

I highly recommend filling out the Auto Note while working on the patient. The assistant could do this while waiting for anesthesia and finish while doctor is giving post op.
Have a Happy New Year!

Hey, I'm glad you like it! You can make the Auto Note print out paragraph or such by putting what you want to always be generated in the 'Preface Text' in the Control Setup. Then leave the text box blank when using the Auto Note if you do not want it to print it out. My dad, who is a dentist that us...

The Auto Notes are used to generate progress notes and save A LOT of time. You start by creating controls like Text Boxes, Combo Boxes, and Multi line Text Boxes. The most powerful controls are the combo boxes. You add the options for the Combo Box(also known as a 'drop down pick list') and then add...

I have Windows Vista Premium as well. The new main security 'update' is the fact that all programs are given basic rights to begin with. This keeps 'bad' programs from being able to take over the computer. The draw back is that some programs including OD need those administrative rights to work. You...

Hello
Check out this thread: http://odent.freeforums.org/viewtopic.php?t=146.
Also, could it be the drivers?
It seem to be a bug, I'm not sure though.
I had a slow down problem but that was solved with the OD hardware acceleration option.
