Re: Recent Adobe Acrobat update
Justin, you just saved me from days of frustration with Acrobat Reader! Thank you very much. Every time I would try to close a pdf scan after doing an EOB it would freeze for about 15 secs. It was really slowing us down and not it is back to normal.

Re: Prevent Employees From Clocking-in Too Early
Gotcha. Yeah, they had a stern lecture at morning huddle today and they all signed off on the Time Clock rules. It's amazing that some of them still had the audacity to make some snide remarks over this. They don't understand that clocking in 10 mins. early every day for 5 days a week, multiplied by...

Prevent Employees From Clocking-in Too Early
Is there a way in the software to setup a schedule for employees that is associated with the time card which would prevent employees being able to clock-in to start the day before a defined time? We have rules about when employees can clock in to start the day, and recently they have been abusing th...

Re: Running OD on a MacBook Pro with Boot Camp
Excellent. That's what I wanted to hear. It's unfortunate that my Dental IT company (who is an authorized reseller of Open Dental) wrote me an email stating that they won't support me if I use a MacBook Pro because they have read posts on Dentaltown where dentists have had problems running Boot Camp...

Re: Running OD on a MacBook Pro with Boot Camp
So let's say that I plan on spending most if not all of my time in Windows while at work and then mostly in OS X while at home, would Boot Camp save me some money and work alright?

Running OD on a MacBook Pro with Boot Camp

Server is Windows Server 2003, Most workstations are XP Pro and one is Windows 7 Pro. My question is, if I buy a new MacBook Pro for my office will I run into any issues u...

Re: DirectX Hardware compatibility list
Anyone find any solutions to this yet? All of my older computers run DirectX mode fine (Nvidia 6000 and 7000 series cards) and my brand new computer (nvidia 9000 series card) will not support DirectX. Any ideas to rectify this?

Re: Is there a way to send mass emails to patients?
Has there been any progress towards mass e-mailing patients? Currently I am forced to export all emails and import them into our Gmail online contacts and we email from there. Unfortunately, Gmail limits emails to a max of 500 recipients at a time so we have to have multiple groups in our address bo...

Re: Billing
Under Setup->Modules under the Account section there's the following field: 'Days to calculate due date. Usually 10 or 15. Leave blank to show "Due on Receipt". Hey, that's perfect. You would think that after having this software fro 2.5 years that I would have figured that out. I'll keep on learni...

Re: Billing
I as well would like the opting to put an automated due date on bills. This way I could have it set up to make the due date 30 days from the date that the statement is printed. Is there an option for this that I am missing???
