No we do not use wireless network.

Checked the MySQL 5.0 and only 4 lines in the my.ini file and they read the same

Called OpenDental help and they suggested going to 'setup', 'show features', and selecting 'multiple office locations'.
That also did not fix the problem.

Any other ideas?

Are there settings that will allow you to apply this Alternative Benefit to certain insurances or certain patients where the policy applies? I could not find the answer in the online manual.

Thanks for any info

Alternative Benefit: Changing Composite to Amalgam

It seems the latest version will make this change automatically. Under Lists-> Setup->Procedure Codes you can change this option to apply to all posterior, just molars, or just 2nd molars. My question is can you change it according to the insurance plan? For example maybe most Cigna and Aetna PPO's ...

PPO Percentage

Just switched from Ver 5.1 to 5.3 and noticed the change in how the treatment plan is calculated. We see a large amount of PPO patients and thus the old columns worked out well when the treatment and cost was explained to the patient. We said the first column is our Standard Fee The next column is t...

Is there a way to simply import/export the medication list. Some of us have already entered many meds with descriptions and it would be a great start for others. I probably have over 200 fairly common meds that my patients are on with descriptions. I would gladly share my data.

I am able to place a note for a lab script in the patients chart and thus track the progress of the case. I was wondering if I can also print the script so that I do not have to use a seperate Lab script book. I thought that feature was once on the planned list but I did not see it now. Has it alrea...

I have been very happy with Emdeon and I think they have a very competitive rate. They could improve slightly on the reports they send back with regaurds to the processing of previous claims. Sometimes their electronic report is hard to follow.
