Maybe the biggest problem with dummy codes is keeping track of them and organizing them. Once you use one, you can't delete it, because it is already posted to patient accounts. SEND IT BACK. tell them you dont have a way to key in credit card payments and you have already discounted your fees for the insurance payment and you will not pay for the credit card fees.

sounds about right. automated systems still need to be checked on. we dumped the phone confirmation service because of what you described and the bilingual capabilities didn't work very well. LH is still a great product and I still would recommend it but there is always room for improvement.

make sure you have adobe reader on all of the computers...that you want to read the pdf...other pdf readers dont automatically show the document in OD...you will have to click on the document and it will appear.

i use the epson gts50 also works in a flash, goes straight into od. we also use it for drivers license and crop the photo for the pts picture. it runs about 400-450 last time i checked. I have 2 of them and have had them for approximately 3 years...no issues. I also have the snap scan from fujitsu ....

Stylus works best on touchscreen charting. Knuckles work great when your in a hurry. I use an acer 24 inch touchscreen monitor. Works for many things but I still have keyboard and mouse option.

still doesnt allow me to do a production report by assistants... it still counts on someone logging on and off, but it was good talking about it but im just not understanding how those changes would improve anything the OD SI people are asking for.

i tried the fields thing also but it doesn't keep tabs on (production numbers). I have one person that answers the phone who somehow always seems to bring in patients that do more dentistry..not sure what she is saying but its pretty consistent

not unless you seriously upgrade the audit trail or i dont understand the audit trail. The information i need is to be able to know which new patient exams where scheduled by which employee. the audit trail will just give me a list of all the actions done by the employee. also the audit trail is DEP...

shvercer go on dentaltown and see if you can find anyone using exan power practice. I didn't see anyone on dentaltown. the code structure may be similar but if no one else is driving it it probably doesn't work very well or is very expensive. just my 2cents from a past es, dentrix, tce,and practicew...

1 yes it does work with 64 bit 2 yes it does remove blank pages 3 its a little better then the snap scan...it has a scan to print which gives you a copy machine, the twain driver is nice. and od is quirky with the multiscan...and pdf files show up blank in od but when you click on the file it opens ...

i have a fantastic connection and don't notice any drop off in connection. jordans answer makes more sense but by his own admission the web development tools don't afford for nice gui...I guess development is driven by capture of market share.

thats how i do it there are multiple providers for each doctor with symbols for different types of insurances. the only irritation is that your front office has to make sure the provider is marked correctly
