I remember there was a way to add the office email of a patient to the patients chart . I can not find it now. I can add it to pt email but that sometimes is not the best solution. It seems like it was in the clinic module.

Medical Billing for IV sedation /3rds
Does anybody generate a statement for the patient to file for medical coverage of Sedation and thirds. It appears there is a diagnosis code and a treatment code for each. I sure would lke to be able to give that statement to patients as many seem to get paid.

I think my NPI and License number are on the claim. I honestly have never looked. I doubt my tax id is there as each office sends me a 1099 each year and I do not get any from the insurance companies. I do not know how each office files the claim.

I briefly read the Hippa rules and regulaions this morning. One of the last portions I read dealt with the types of insurance filed that thus required Hippa compliance by the practioner. I do not file insurance. Does this mean the data I have on my server is exempt from Hippa compliance rules.

I am already scan free as of getting the monitor to record the printout through the serial port to USB on the Tablet. As for what OD developes that is cool. If you want to save a text file as an image, why don't you just so a screen shot? Do PrintScreen (F12), open Paint, paste it in, select the area you want, copy it to something like Photoshop Elements 9 (which is only $99, only $79 for an upgrade), and save as a JPEG/GIF/ or PNG. Thats what was done...

I go to a couple of offices that have Schick sensors. I installed the CDR software and enabled the bridge. I am getting an error. Schick shows up on the patients chart. The USB finds new hardware and it will not work. Should I not install the schick software?

I would like to add a folder called sedation record to the image section. Is this possible or are they fixed.

Hyperterminal connection to OD Images
Is it possible to import an ECG/BP/SP02 into the images portion of the chart using hyperterminal. My ECG has a serial port and I have a cable that goes from serial port to USB.

Transfer of program to another computer
I bought a new laptop and will be giving my XPS dell to my wife. They are leaving for the coast and alas my laptop is not here yet. I am going to back up to a flash drive....but I do not think this will transfer the program. What do I need to do to transfer the whole thing? I have not been on suppor...
